Noun

Project: Logo and Website

Designed the following logo for an experimental website based on answering personal questions with images.  The site is currently being built, with two "exhibits" currently open and others waiting to be answered.  Chose the name noun for its definition and simplicity.  http://noun.prgm2.com

The site's design is minimal, allowing the user generated content to take center stage.

After finishing the logo it reminded me of a painting by Robert Motherwell I'd seen in a museum somewhere.  Great minds think alike, apparently! ;)

What is This?

My name is Josh Divine, and I am the man behind Program2 Illustration and Design.  Here, I'm going through my process for my own benefit, for my clients, and for the benefit of other designers.  I am too humble to suggest that anyone could learn anything from me, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Enjoy!

Notes on the Site

This site uses web fonts from The League of Movable Type and typekit.
Web fonts are a relatively new idea, but a very exciting one.  There are reports that they don't render well on all browsers.   IE8, Newer Safari, Firefox and Opera 10 should be fine. If that is not the case for you, please let me know!

This site was built with the TYPO3 CMS and elements of Greg Remington's Zen Wireframe for TYPO3.
